And now...

The countdown has begun... 33 days until Shayelle is due! It is crazy exciting and scary. We are actually going to be parents and there is going to be a baby at our house. Sometimes I want her just to be here already, and other times I think I can wait a little longer. I am not looking forward to the whole labor thing, Im just banking on the epidural. I am ready not to be huge and have her under my ribs or on my bladder or kicking me. I also don't feel prepared, how am I supposed to know what a baby needs. Braydon is great, he doesn't seem nervous. He is very very excited. I think its so cute. So here goes to the final month... Yipee!!!!

Time for a long post...

2010 has started out busy busy busy for us. New years eve we were in Evanston with the Wilkeys. We had loads of fun playing Mario, telestrations (our new favorite) and Quelf!
The next week I went back to school and Braydon worked for a week. Then the next week Braydon started school again. He likes his class which is great, and he got into the math he needed to so he could stay on track (Mr. Smarty Pants).
We went back to the doctor that week too. Shayelle is measuring 2 weeks bigger than she should be, which is not bad, she is just going to be a chubby little baby. We now start going to the doctor every 2 weeks, which means she is coming so soon. We only have about 6-7 weeks left!!! We are crazy excited, nervous, anxious and happy!
Braydon and I didnt do anything for our anniversary this year because A. it was right after Christmas and B. Braydon was sick :( So we took a late anniversary trip this last weekend. It started a little early for me when Braydon brought flowers to me at Parent Teacher Conferences. I have the best husband!

My beautiful flowers and belly at 33 weeks

Then we went to Salt Lake. We ate at the Mayan (delicious) and went to Sherlock Holmes (awesome). The next day we spent some time at Temple Square, saw the Joseph Smith movie, wandered around and ate at The Garden (yummy). That night we went to the Jazz game. Our seats were the highest you could possibly get, but it was way fun. We randomly saw the Udys (friends from Tremonton) They were sitting a couple sections away from us. And then Braydon spotted his grandpa clear down in the 4th row! We walked down to say hi. It was so funny that we see friends and family more in Salt Lake than we do in Tremonton! The game was a blast. We loved the mascots, it was the Jazz Bear's birthday so mascots from 5 other teams were there. The next day we came home.

This picture is so random, but I had to post it. We were at the Garden eating and I wanted a picture of us with the temple behind us. No one was there to take it so we tried ourselves. This is so typical of every picture that we take, I am looking at Braydon to see if he is looking at the camera and he is looking in the distance and....click!
Our super high seats, but we had a great view of the whole arena :)

The next day we came home. When we got home we had a few huge boxes in our living room, our baby furniture came! (Thanks mom and dad and Curtis and Laurie for bringing it home) Braydon got right to work opening it all the moving it to Shayelle's room. It looks soooooo good. It made us even more excited!

This is not her actual bedding, but a blanket and pillow we got for Christmas matched so well we put it in anyway.

Today we are hanging out, I forsee much Mario action and some school work. Whew.... that was a lot, but now we are up to date!

Calling all babysitters...

Our little Shayelle is scheduled to arrive on March 5th. Yay! I'm very excited to be a mommy and stay home with her for a few weeks. However, I will have to go back to school to finish out the last 5-6 weeks of school. We are looking for someone to watch our baby for that time, so if you know of anyone that is good and available let us know... PLEASE! Thats all :)

Happy 1 year!

One year ago today I married my best friend! It has been an amazing year. It went so fast, but it feels like we have been married forever. Being married is the best thing. I can't imagine not being married now. I love you Braydon!!!! I'm so excited for our family to grow and start a new chapter in our lives. Love you forever, for always, no matter what! XOXO

Our baby has a bed

This is the crib we (when I say we, I mean Nanny got them for us for Christmas) got for Shayelle. We also got a dresser and changing table that matches. They are way nice and I can't wait to set it up. She is coming so soon. I can't believe it is only about 2 months away.
Jared and Liesl (cousin/friends from Ohio) came to visit and we met Bailey for the first time. She is adorable!!!! It made us sooooo excited for Shayelle to come. They are going to be the best of friends we can already tell.
We are finally ready for Christmas... shopping, wrapping and stressing are done. Now its time for food, family, games, and more food. This is the part of Christmas that I LOVE. Four days of bliss with my cute husband, it can't get better :) I can't tell you how happy I am.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Holly and Jolly

The rundown....
It was my birthday.. yay! Family came over for cake and ice cream and then Braydon took me out to dinner and New Moon!!! Loved it.

We were able to get tickets to the First Presidency's Christmas devotional. It was amazing to be there. Great messages about Christmas. We went with all of Braydon's family, well the grown ups at least. It was good to have everyone there. It was an awesome way to start the season!
We ventured to Las Vegas for Lyndsie and Doug's wedding. It was a quick trip, but way fun. We stayed in St. George and went to Vegas for the day. We went to the wedding, which was great, visited the strip, went to eat with everyone from the wedding, and we got to visit Sara Manning who just moved there. Then that night we were back to St. George and the next morning back to Tremonton.
And finally, this is about 24 or 25ish weeks along. (Now I'm 29 weeks!) What a belly....

Braydon finished school! He did great and went back to work for the break between school.
We got to go to the live taping of Music and the Spoken Word followed by the MoTab concert. It was great. We have been so lucky to go to the conference center for such great things lately.
Our last doctor's appointment went well. Shayelle is doing great.
We also saw a play called "Once upon a Christmas" with all (I mean ALL) of Braydon's family. It was hilarious, we loved it!!!
We are now officially addicted to Lost. We have been Netflixing it and finished all the seasons recently and don't know what to do with ourselves until it comes back on in February.
And lastly, we hope everyone has a Happy and safe Christmas and New Year!!!!!

We are here

We have been pretty busy the last few weeks. I have needed to blog for a while and never did. We had birthdays, Thanksgiving, shopping and a quick trip to Vegas. When I get home I fully plan on blogging until my little heart is content, but for now this is about all I have.
